New York’s first snow storm set the scene for this Thanksgiving hosted by Parachute. A stunning tablescape with calligraphy namecards and candles filled the long table in the back room of Brooklyn’s Dumbo House. I was so inspired by the Bubby’s pies on the tables, that I ordered one for my own Thanksgiving.

A Current Affair held in Brooklyn last week was a star studded event for designers, models and BK native fashionistas. Designers like Stacey Bendet and Mara Hoffman roamed the aisles looking for vintage stand out pieces to add to their collection and inspiration for next season. I gawked at the price tags on vintage Oscar de la Renta and Chanel jackets hanging amongst the crowds of color pieces.
