This was my first time attending the Boston Marathon, which is shocking considering I grew up outside of Boston my whole life.
I was overwhelmed by the whole experience. The chanting, cheering and enthusiasm of the attendees lining the route had me in tears. I already can't wait until next year.
Last night was a unique event for the Celtics. Rarely does my fashion work and NBA work collide, so I was excited to be able to shoot an event sponsored by Alex and Ani. Anything sold last night between 5 and 7pm at the Newbury St. location, 15% of the sales went back to the marathon runners of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation Marathon team. The runners included a husband and wife, Celtics' community relations manager and more.
