Pre Fall 2016 Carolina Herrera

It was a dream being able to shoot for Carolina Herrera last week. I loved the set up of their Pre Fall Lookbook. This interesting black frames created another dimension to the shoot.

Their was a BTS videographer as well, so I was able to capture more motion when the models were shooting for the Instagram video.

Kristian is such a blast to work with on set. He brings such liveliness to the shoot through motion and emotion in the models.

Pre Fall 2016 J. Mendel

I also shot J. Mendel's Pre fall 2016 lookbook campaign. Getting to watch Daniel Jackson do his magic was an experience I will never forget. 

The set up at Pier 59 allowed me to capture a variety of scenes from the inspiration board, to Giles dressing the models, to touch ups on set. Photographing Giles in his element was a special moment to capture. He put his touch on everything. Personally dressing every model, fluffing the fur, and pinning the clothes. He is a very in tune designer, which is what I love about him and the brand.

Pre Fall 2016 Prabal Gurung

I love being able to shoot the same designer in multiple seasons. It allows me to creatively shoot different and tell a new story of a brand new season collection. 

This week I shot BTS (behind the scenes) at Prabal Gurung's lookbook at Milk Studios. I like to talk with the team before I begin. See what the most important pieces are and what the inspiration was for the collection. This way I capture what they need as well as complete the story with the key factors photographed. Prabal's team expressed how much they adored the studs seen on cuffs, back of zippers, etc. The edginess of the stud contrasted with the loose chic nature of the clothes not only presented a unique photo but was vidal to the Pre Fall 2016 collection.
