Florals filled the floors and space of the Moxy Chelsea to honor the flower district during their opening party last week. A makeup station with Bella Thorne products was set up next to Jon Boy Tattoo’s workspace on the 2nd floor across from a bar with speciality cocktails with edible flower toppings that match your zodiac sign. Outside on the 2nd floor’s balcony was Heaven Sake bottles, a pizza oven and fresh dough being tossed in the air.
As if that isn’t over the top already, the 32nd floor was decked out with rooms to visit. One had a performance going on that played with the themes of ASMR and touch. Another room was entirely made of grass and the other with a light installation of flowers. Across the hall was a small room you could record an ASMR video in with any of the props, including bubblewrap, lollipops, toothbrushes, dice and cocktail shakers.
The Moxy clearly doesn’t throw your average party, which is why I always love covering their openings and shooting their ad work.
