Kick It by Eliza for MISSBISH

January 20, 2017

I met Eliza Shirazi of Kick It By Eliza at Everybody Fights hidden in the Seaport District of Boston. The gym gave me major Dogpound vibes. She geared up with her gloves and Kick It New Balance gear. Eliza showed me what it takes to be a part of the kick it crew in the ring.

Jab. Jab. Jab.

High kick!

Eliza's energy and inspiration is contagious. It's evident by the many greetings of the other gym attendees. One girl brings her father up to Eliza to introduce them and tell her father what a difference Eliza's class has made on her. Mixing portraiture, fitness and lifestyle, I was able to capture the many sides of Eliza and her inner MISSBISH.

"MISSBISH means being the most kick ass version of yourself."

Bari Studio for HBFit

September 11, 2015

Hannah Bronfman and HBFit hosted a class at the Bari studio in Tribeca to jump start Fashion Week. As a bari newbie, I photographed in awe at how exciting the class was. I silently jammed to Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean?" when it came on.

The class was just as much about the body as it was about the mind. The last 30 minutes of the class are spent meditating, breathing and changing the energy of the room.

The class talked about triggers. The instructor encouraged us to breath and take in the moment every time we hear the word fashion this week. Be present.

I love jobs where the experience is more than just shooting. And this was one of them.

Duality of Activewear for HBFit

September 9, 2015

This is the perfect way to kick off fashion week.

I recently photographed six outfits two ways for a blog post on HBFit. All activewear shown either in a pretty feminine or a tomboy edgier look. We walked around NYC stumbling upon a colorful ice cream truck and garage doors, which made perfect backdrops to the fitness lifestyle outfits.

Kicking my health start into gear, I immediately went to Juice Generation for a smoothie after the photoshoot. I plan to live a more HBFit lifestyle and pray it helps me make it through the chaos that is New York Fashion Week.
